According to our Associations Policy and Procedures, the board is to notify all upcoming officer and director positions that need to be filled during the 2022 Calendar year.

In addition, elections will be held following our Policies and Procedures and be held via electronic ballot.

The following positions will be on the ballot in August.

Chief Duties of Open Positions

President-Elect

  • Must be a local REALTOR®
  • Term:  3 Years: (One Year as President-Elect, One Year as President, and One Year as Immediate Past President)

Chief Duties of the President-Elect are as follows:

  1. Assume and perform the duties of the President in their absence.
  2. Represent the President at conferences and meetings when directed to do so by the President or Board of Directors
  3. Assist the President in the performance of their duties
  4. Perform such other duties as may be delegated to them by the President or the Board of Directors
  5. The President-Elect shall automatically succeed to the office of President upon completion of their term.
  6. The President-Elect shall take the office of the President upon resignation, death, incapacitation, or impeachment of the President and shall complete the remaining term unless otherwise determined by the Board of Directors.

Secretary

  • Must be a local REALTOR®
  • Term:  2 Years
  • Will perform the duties of Treasurer if no one is elected to that position

Chief Duties of the Secretary are as follows:

  1. Assist the President and officiate in keeping correct minutes of all meetings of the Association.
  2. Distribute meeting minutes as appropriate to the Board and General Membership bodies. Meeting minutes are to be distributed to the appropriate body prior to the next meeting of the respective body.
  3. Mail out paper billings via United State Postal Service (USPS) as necessary.
  4. Perform any other duties as may be delegated to him/her by the President or the Board of Directors.
  5. When retiring from office immediately deliver all books, papers and other property in his/her charge belonging to the Association to his/her successor in office.

Treasurer

  • Must be a local REALTOR®
  • Term:  2 Years
  • Will be subject to a criminal history background check for the purpose of determining if there is a history of criminal convictions or license law violations within the last seven (7) years, or any pending criminal litigation, that might be considered in determining a candidate’s eligibility.
  • In the event the secretary’s position becomes vacant the Treasurer shall assume the secretarial duties, unless assumed by the Association Executive.

Chief Duties of the Treasurer are as follows:

  1. Oversee the management of Association funds.
  2. Reconcile the bank statements monthly.
  3. Review the monthly Balance Sheet to ensure funds are appropriated as directed by the Board of Directors.
  4. Review the Profit and Loss Statements to ensure expenses have been assessed to the appropriate accounts.
  5. Report the financial status of the Association monthly to the Board of Directors.
  6. Monitor the status of each account closely to ensure none incurs a deficit.  Should an account become deficient in funds, the Treasurer will immediately report it to the Board of Directors for action as deemed appropriate and/or necessary.
  7. Co-Sign Check as Necessary.
  8. Handle and account for funds received during events.
  9. Follow the deposit schedule.
  10. When retiring from office, immediately deliver all books, papers, and other property in their charge belonging to the Association to their successor in office.

Payette County Director

Must be a local REALTOR®
Serves a three (3) year term

Chief Duties of the Payette County Director are as follows:

  1. Direct committee(s) assigned to him/her.
  2. Serve as a member of all assigned committee(s).
  3. Report to the President and Association on all Association activities handled by him/her.
  4. Be responsible for the general conduct of all affairs of the Association and assist in enacting such rules and regulations for its government as may be deemed practical, providing that same shall not be inconsistent with the Bylaws and Policies of the Association.
  5. Keep the membership reasonably and properly informed on all matters of particular interest and concern with respect to the Real Estate profession and business.
  6. Perform such other duties as may be delegated to them by the President or the Board of Directors
  7. Attend not less than two meetings annually for each assigned committee.

Idaho State Director

Must be a local REALTOR® licensed in the State of Idaho
Serves a three (3) year term

The chief Duties of the Idaho State Director are as follows:

  1. Keep informed on matters affecting Real Estate in the community, the State, and Nation, and contribute responsibly to the Association on related matters.
  2. Ensure the aims and objectives of the State Association are accepted and carried out at the local level.
  3. Bring programs and issues from the Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® (FRAOR) to the attention of the State Association as required.
  4. Perform such other duties as are prescribed by the President or Association.

Affiliate-Member Director

Must be an individual affiliate member of the Association, or an employee of a current affiliate member.
Serves a three (3) year term

The chief Duties of the Affiliate-Member Director are as follows:

  1. Direct committee(s) assigned to them.
  2. Serve as a member of appointed committee(s).
  3. Be responsible for the general conduct and affairs of the Association.
  4. Assist in enacting rules and regulations for its government as may be deemed practical, providing the same shall not be inconsistent with the Bylaws or Policies of the Association.
  5. Perform such other duties as are prescribed by the President or Association.
  6. Attend not less than two meetings annually for each assigned committee.
  7. Act as liaison between the general affiliate membership and the Board of Directors, providing the general view of the affiliate membership.
