Renew Your E & O Insurance Before It Expires!

Have you renewed your Errors & Omissions Insurance Yet? Idaho Real Estate Commission’s (IREC) policy expires on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Your current policy MUST BE RENEWED by WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 AT 11:59 PM to remain compliant with Idaho Licensing Laws.

You have two options to renew your policy:

1. Renew with Rice Insurance Services Company, LLC (RISC) – Idaho’s Group Administrator
   1. Visit www.risceo.com/states/Idaho to renew your IREC’s group policy. (A convenience fee will apply to online orders).
   2. Mail in your renewal paperwork and payments to Rice Insurance Services Company, LLC at the address listed on your renewal form.  NOTE: All mailed paperwork and payments must be received prior to the September 30th deadline. If you select this option, there is no need to submit any forms as RISC notifies IREC of your coverage.
2. Obtain your own E & O Insurance policy.  This can include a policy that your broker may provide or a policy that is purchased on your own.  Just make sure that it meets IREC’s minimum policy requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that the correct proof of coverage is submitted to the Idaho Real Estate Commission.

If you want to verify your current Errors & Omissions Insurance Status, you can log in to your portal on the Idaho Real Estate Commissions Websiste.  Once logged in, Click on the “My Information” Menu and scroll down to the E & O Insurance Link.
